The concept is built around the notion of writing a message on a pretend piece of paper, folding it into a virtual paper airplane and casting it upon the wind. As it sails past another TAPP user, they can grab it, add their own message and throw it out again in which ever direction they like.
This throw is quite literal, too. A glance at the map overview (provided by Gmaps, so it all looks nice) shows all the current paper airplanes flying within your grasp. Each user has a certain radius from the current location, and any planes within that circle are up for grabs. What's nice about this is that your physical location has a significant impact on the messages you can receive, and it's also fascinating to see just how far some planes have travelled before crossing your path.

Since my review for 1.1 version, Oscar has addressed many little issues with this up-date. The flightbook makes it easier to see when you have received a relpy to your own planes and the ones that you have replied too as well. You can also earn a bonus radius depending on how many planes and relpies you send out. And it will now check spellings.
It is also good that you can build up a string of messages on a plane and see what other people add on after you and keep leaving more messages.(That's if the plane is still in your area) This helps you get to know the other pilots better.
Join in and enjoy sending out interesting planes. But please... add a name even if it is a nickmane. :-)

Je ziet nu wanneer iemand iets heeft toegevoegd aan je vliegtuig(en) ... Er zijn wel meer paper pilots nodig :) .. Doe mee en gooi je berichtjes naar de rest van de wereld en kijk welke route je  aflegt en wat er aan toegevoegd is

I would have given this app more stars but messages like : Hi, Hello and Hey dude are just plain boring, use a bit of imagination please..... It also could do with being able to report unsavoury titles and messages, If people think they are being clever, sadly.... they are not:.they are just idiots. Predictive text would be good too,( like they have on the Balloons app.)I have to keep checking my spellings and I am over 60! It could be made easier to find your own planes too.

| This game has the possibility of being really cool if we can just get more people to play this game. The more people playing, the more airplanes out there. And what is nice is that you can attach pictures to your messages. The adult content switch is nice so that children playing will not receive naughty messages or inappropriate pictures. |
